FLOCK

I downloaded the Flock browser and will give it a try. The browser integrates your facebook, rss feeds, webmail among other tools.
Might be a bit scary.

Rollyo

This Rollyo is pretty neato. I think it would be neat to use in the program guides.

Podcasts

I've been into listening to podcasts for about a year now. I like to download a couple of podcasts on my ipod so I have something to distract me while I jog or do chores.
I have to admit though, that I'm more inclined to download podcasts from CBC or NPR because I know that quality and content will be good.
I did find some interesting podcasts on podcast alley though. Thanks for the tip!

Facebook

I've been doing quite a bit of thinking about social networking and online community lately. I really enjoy using Facebook to contact and communicate with friends and family across the country and I like that I can share my day-to-day life with people I rarely get to see.
But like anything is requires thought and management. Keeping track of what you put out there and who has access to what information is very important.
As far as the library's participation in social networking and the social space of our "customers", I think it's important that we go there and give them the option to use our services through facebook.
What got me thinking about this was the creepy treehouse post by Barbara Fister on the ACRLog.
Check it out and see what you think.

del.icio.us

Great way to keep track of and to share information on the web. I hope to start using it and stay with it.
